Walter and Connie Payton Foundation's Annual Toy Drive

November 27, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Volunteers will collect new toys for in-need children who have found themselves apart of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and individual families who are in need of a helping hand.

The Payton family, WCPF staff and volunteers will be stationed at most entrances of Soldier Field from 9 a.m. until the Bears game begins at noon. Everyone attending this game is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation for a child, ages newborn up to 18 years old, and drop it in one of the WPCF Toy-Drop Boxes when entering the stadium. WCPF provides for approximately 14,000 in-need children annually and needs your support to make this possible. All toys collected will be distributed throughout the state of Illinois this Holiday Season. Every contribution can make a difference in the life of a child, so we encourage all ticket holders to generously donate.

The Payton family continues to honor Walter's Legacy through events such as the Soldier Field Toy Drive. For those who are not attending this Bears game and would like to make a donation, visit www.Payton34.com to find a WCPF Community Toy Drop location nearest you.
