Holy Family church on West Roosevelt Road is celebrating its 155th anniversary, and in honor of that, another church, the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii Chicago, has given Holy Family religious relics.
The relics include approximately 12 Nativity scenes from around the world.
The Shrine of Our Lady had the items since the 1970s but is giving them to Holy Family as a gift for its anniversary.
The gifts will be on display after an anniversary Mass at Holy Family Sunday.
