January 20, 2013, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the official inauguration of President Obama, even though though the public ceremonies will be on Monday, January 21, 2013.

The DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago is honoring both men and you're invited.

Also, the exhibit "Walking with Heroes" brings notable African American figures to life, including Rosa Parks, Lieutenant Uhura of Star Trek, Ida B. Wells, Elijah J. McCoy, and more.

Dr. Carol L. Adams, president & CEO of the DuSable Museum came into our ABC7 studio to tell us about the events there.
