There is so much concern about energy drinks that doctors are being urged to talk with their young patients about the dangers.

A new study released by the American Association of Pediatrics says that 35-percent of teens consume energy drinks.

The side effects include heart palpitations, anxiety and elevated blood pressure.

College students who mix energy drinks with alcohol run an increased risk of being involved in an accident.
