Lake Michigan at lowest level in recorded history

The water in Lake Michigan is at its lowest level in recorded history.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said that both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are 29-inches lower than normal, the lowest level since they started keeping track in 1918.

Lakes Superior, Erie and Ontario are also below average.

The drought and other natural factors are to blame for the drop, according to experts.
