Charges were filed Monday against a 24-year-old Chicago man who allegedly stabbed his father to death.

Chicago police say Kenneth Johnson, a 49-year-old O'Hare Airport security officer, was stabbed multiple times after a domestic dispute early Sunday. It happened inside Johnson's Morgan Park home near 114th Street and Rockwell.

Kenneth Johnson was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.

His son, Mason Johnson, now faces first-degree murder charges.

Mason Johnson was hospitalized Monday with injuries sustained during the stabbing, police said.
