Kevin Sanders' body returning to Chicago area

The body of a first responder from Palos Hills who died in the West Texas fertilizer plant explosion will be returned to the Chicago area Saturday.

Thirty-three-year-old Kevin Sanders was an emergency medical technician. He and 13 others were killed in last week's blast in West Texas.

Sanders' body will arrive at O'Hare Airport Saturday evening and will receive a full honors escort.

Sanders is survived by a wife and three-month-old son. He attended Marist High School.
