Chicago police say a 17-year-old has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor battery.

The suspect is charged as a juvenile. He was charged Thursday. His mother tells ABC7 he is back at home.

Police say the teen may be responsible for two incidents on the morning of April 11.

In each case, police say, the victims were female juveniles.

The suspect is accused of approaching girls traveling on a Red Line train then touching their legs and trying to put his arms around them.
