Study: Chicago River cleanup has economic benefits

Pro ecology groups have done a study which finds there will be huge economic benefits to cleaning up the Chicago River.

The study was commissioned by Friends of the Chicago River and Openlands.

It concludes that if all planned and proposed projects are finished they will create over 50,000 construction jobs and more than 800 permanent jobs.

They study says the cleanup will also generate billions in business revenue.
