Jamal Johnson, 30, and 21-year-old Douglas Alexander are facing murder charges in connection with the shooting death of 23-year-old Mutassem Abdelaziz in the Zion Aldi's parking lot Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say robbery appears to be the motive behind Abdelaziz's death.
Both suspects appeared in bond court on Saturday, May 25th and have been remanded to the Lake County Jail on $5,000,000. bond. The motive for this case appears to be robbery.
Investigators say they are still looking into the incident.
