Because of those repairs, all northbound lanes of I-294 between I-88 and I-90 were closed overnight, but re-opened Sunday morning.
Workers removed a beam damaged in an accident last Monday when a dump truck struck the overpass.
There will be another closure this summer to install a new beam.
