Ray Bradbury's personal book collection bequeathed to Waukegan Public Library

Books and possibly some personal belongings of the late science fiction writer Ray Bradbury will be headed to a library in suburban Waukegan.

Bradbury was the author of such classic novels as 'The Martian Chronicles' and 'Fahrenheit 451.'

He was a Waukegan native.

Bradbury died last year at the age of 91.

He bequeathed his personal collection of books to the Waukegan Public Library.

The library also hopes to receive some of Bradbury's personal belongings, including a typewriter.
