Overcrowding has long been a concern at the Cook County Jail.

And it's nearly at capacity again, just at the time of year that Sheriff Tom Dart says the population typically rises. Some say overhauling the county's bail system could help deal with the problem. This week on Newsviews, Dart and Cook County Commissioner John Fritchey talk about the causes of the growing jail population and possible ways to safely deal with the problem.
