Daniel Taylor to be released from jail, murder charges dropped

June 28, 2013 (CHICAGO)

Taylor was 17 when he was arrested for the 1992 murders of a couple in their Uptown apartment.

He confessed, but records show he was in police custody at the time of the killings.

Taylor was still convicted.

Northwestern University's Center on Wrongful Convictions worked to get the charges dropped.

He will be released from the Menard Correctional Center.
