An auto shop goes up in flames on the city's west side when a two-alarm fire broke out just before 8 p.m. in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

Fire fighters say the fire began when a broken light ignited some spilled gasoline.

The flames caused part of the building's walls to collapse.

A hazmat team was also called in.

The building also housed a car wash and a barber shop.

No word on if there are any injuries.
