A group of kittens are safe after being rescued from a fire on the city's Southwest Side.

Firefighters were battling a blaze at a vacant Laundromat in the 2300-block of South California. While putting out the fire, the firefighters discovered some kittens.

They brought the kitties outside and gave them some oxygen.

The kitties look like they're doing well, despite their ordeal.
