Police say three people robbed a woman at gunpoint in the Albany Park neighborhood in the 4500 block of North Christiana.
One of the suspects fired a handgun and the woman suffered a graze wound to her neck.
Officers opened fire on the suspects after they reportedly pointed a gun at them.
Police later arrested the three, two men and a woman, but the woman was released without charges.
The men are charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
