Centegra Health System says it may be treating McHenry County's first illness triggered by the flesh-rotting drug.

Doctors in McHenry County are working to get the word out to the public about the danger of the homemade drug that's made its way to the country after years of use in Russia.

Recently, there have been several cases in Will County. The inexpensive drug can be made from codeine and commonly found ingredients. It's called Krokodil because it can turn the skin scaly and green.
