High blood pressure risks higher while pregnant

High blood pressure is the most common medical problem pregnant women face affecting up to 3 percent of all pregnancies.

A new report shows women who have severe high blood pressure while pregnant have a 40 percent higher long term risk of stroke.

Those women are urged to cut back on salt, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, exercise and keep up with doctors' visits.
