Police said they were investigating an initial incident involving what the school alerts said were two males at a campus apartment complex.
According to police, one male was in the hospital after being stabbed at a campus apartment. It was not clear if that male was a student.
University alerts posted to Twitter warned students to stay in their rooms with doors and windows locked until officials give an all-clear.
