The weather may not have warranted it, but the hot chocolate was flowing as some 40,000 runners and walkers took over the South Loop.
It was all for the 6th annual Hot Chocolate 15K-5K. The event raises money for the Ronald McDonald House charities.
The Hot Chocolate 15K-5K is aiming to raise a million dollars for the charity with a national tour.
