Serial killer joke gets South Elgin man fired, arrested

November 14, 2013 (SOUTH ELGIN, Ill.)

Michael Romanenko lost his job as an internet technician after allegedly boasting to two Naperville women that he was a serial killer.

He is free on bond.

He's scheduled to appear in a Wheaton courtroom next Tuesday.
