The Chicago Police Department finds a unique way to honor one of its fallen officers.

A police academy training lab has been named after Officer Michael P. Gordon.

It's where recruits will learn how to give breathalyzer tests.

Officer Gordon died when his squad car was hit by a drunk driver nine years ago.

His dad says officer Gordon achieved two big professional dreams, to be a soldier and then be a Chicago police officer.
