Santa hitches ride with Indy driver; Ed Carpenter holds event at Children's Museum of Indianapolis

Forget the sleigh. Santa ditched his reindeer and opted to use four wheels to visit children in Indiana.

Jolly Old Saint Nick hitched a ride from Indy race car driver Ed Carpenter.

The two attended an event at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.

A couple of Santa's elves repelled down from the museum's roof to help their boss get ready to greet the children.
