The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge is holding their "Black Fur Day" adoption event through Sunday.
Dogs can be adopted for just $99 and cats for only $49.
That includes spay and neuter, micro-chipping and vaccinations.
Saturday 33 animals were adopted.
