Chef Mario Batali's Italian superstore Eataly Chicago opens to the public Monday. Mayor Rahm Emanuel was expected to attend the ribbon cutting.
Eataly is located at 43 East Ohio Streetin the building that was once home to ESPN Zone and Disney Quest.
The grand opening was scheduled for 4 p.m.
