The present is Ruby, born to the Leavitt family at 10:03 Wednesday morning at Edward Hospital.
The Leavitts are from Naperville and Ruby is their third child, after brothers Griffin and Jack.
Ruby's birthday will not be the only birthday the family celebrates on Christmas.
Her father Steve was also born December 25.
"I kept praying it can't be on Christmas, it's Steve's birthday and we've got little kids and presents and it just comes when it comes," Hailey Leavitt said.
"I think it'll just be a blast, I mean more party for the season I guess," Steve Griffin said.
The Leavitts anniversary is also five days before Christmas.
