Chicago police have blocked off one lane and surrounding sidewalks along the 100 block of East Delaware.
That is the stretch that runs along the Hancock building where the melting ice is falling.
No one has been hurt but falling ice has proven to be deadly in Chicago in the past.
Ice is melting everywhere as our temperatures made it to 40 degrees Friday and even warmer weather is coming.
