"Blues by the Lake" runs from June 13 to 15 in Grant Park's Petrillo Music Shell. The Chicago Blues Fest is in its 31st year.
Carolina Chocolate Drops will play Friday, June 13, 2014; Betty LaVette on Saturday, June 14, 2014; and Aaron Neville and Dr. John on Sunday June 15, 2014. Nikki Hill opens on Sunday.
The Blues Festival will pay special tribute to John Lee "Sonny Boy" Williams on Friday during a performance by renowned harmonica player Billy Boy Arnold, who played with Williams.
The Chicago Blues Festival is free, and runs from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
