It happened Tuesday night in the 1100-block of West 110th Place on the city's Far South Side.
Investigators say a man claiming to be a friend of the victim's recently-deceased son came to her home to offer condolences.
The victim says the man then forced his way inside, beat her, and sexually assaulted her.
