Jessica L. Doherty, 20, was charged with one county of felony cannabis possession after police executed a search warrant at her home in the 6500 block of West 63rd Place, according to a release from police News Affairs.
Upon searching the home, officers found an assault weapon, three rifles, two semiautomatic handguns, a shotgun and a revolver, in addition to several rounds of ammunition and an undisclosed quantity of marijuana, according to the release.
A Chicago Police Department Narcotics investigation established surveillance of the home, which eventually led to the execution of the search warrant, the release states.
Doherty is scheduled to appear in bond court Saturday.
