Repairs will get underway later tonight, and the lanes should be reopened by tomorrow afternoon, Thursday March 13, 2014, according to IDOT.
IDOT, in a release said that in order to complete the work, it will be necessary to close the ramp from northbound Lake Shore Drive to the outbound Stevenson while the repairs are underway.
Traffic will be temporarily detoured to the 18th Street exit, where traffic will be directed to turn left and enter the ramp from southbound Lake Shore Drive to the outbound Stevenson.
