Greer is a standout basketball player for Orr Academy. He took to the court on Tuesday to make a three-pointer in the final three seconds against North Chicago High School.
"It was a big shot, and I made it," Greer said.
The 19-year-old was shot in the leg while at a party earlier this month. A 22-year-old man is charged in the case.
The Orr Spartans will go to the state championship for the second straight season, and hope to take home the title this year.
