Sunday's nice weather was perfect for the annual Greek Independence Day Parade.

Plenty of people showed up for the parade, including Governor Pat Quinn who marched in the parade.

This was at Halsted and Randolph in the Greektown neighborhood.

The parade celebrates the independence of Greece from the Ottoman Empire in 1821.

This is the 50th year the parade has been held in Chicago.
