"Neighborhoods of the World" is an eight-week long event that pays tribute to a different ethnic community each week.
Singers and musicians took the stage to entertain the crowds and traditional African jewelry and folk art was on display.
Previous cultures celebrated this summer were the Philippines, Mexican, Lithuania and Chinese. Next week is a celebration of the city's African community.
Next Sunday Navy Pier celebrates Italy.
