Harrison Red Line station renovation to begin Monday

The CTA will begin renovating the Harrison Red Line station beginning Monday, which means closures for riders.

Crews will upgrade the 70-year old station, including new lighting, flooring and stairways.

The station's Polk Street entrance will be closed for about five weeks...and commuters will have to use the main entrance on State Street.

There will also be full station closures on five weekends from May through early June.
