It happened on an interstate near Midland, Texas.
Stacy Grosse says a truck in front of her kicked up the pipe. It bounced off her hood and went right through her windshield.
It hit the spot where her rearview mirror was attached.
She says if the pipe hit her windshield just a couple inches the other way she might not have survived the incident.
