But when they die, they - and their owners - can be treated with less than dignity. To combat that, some funeral homes have started offering internment services for pets. One such place is Moss Family Funeral home in Batavia, which offers cremation services for pets that includes pickup of the pet, returning of the remains and other services. There also is a national professional organization dedicated to providing services for families who have lost pets.
