AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- An Aurora cop is charged with fabricating a story to get overtime.

Investigators say Kimberly Hanson made up a story about assisting a disabled driver. That story allowed her to get about $71 in overtime.

Police say after reviewing her dash cam footage, there was no disabled driver. Hanson could be terminated from the force if found guilty.
