CHICAGO (WLS) -- Grace periods are ending for Chicago city stickers.

That means if your sticker expires on a Friday. You can be ticketed on Saturday.

The city clerk says starting July 1, cars can be ticketed for expired stickers at $200 a day.

There is a 30-day grace period to purchase your sticker from expiration date.

You will no longer have to pay a $60 late fee if you buy your sticker during the grace period.
