VIDEO: Bears spotted in pool, garbage bin

PASADENA, Calif. -- Three bears were spotted taking a midday dip in a backyard pool in Pasadena on Thursday.

The initial bear sighting was reported from the 3500 block of Fairpoint Street around midday.

Two of the bears were later seen rummaging through a garbage bin in the area.

The cubs were also seen swimming in a backyard pool, where the homeowner was able to chase them away.

California Fish and Wildlife said the three bears appeared to be a mother and her two cubs.
