LOWELL, Ind. (WLS) -- A semi hauling beer rolled over on I-65 near the Lowell, Ind., exit. No one was seriously injured, but traffic was impacted for several hours.

Lake County officials said the driver lost control of the semi and crashed into the median around 6:45 a.m. Monday.

Khurshid A. Makhmudov, 31, told police he was adjusting his radio and when his semi started to drift, he overcorrected, and went into the median. He was cited for unsafe lane movement, officials said.

The top of the truck's box trailer split, spilling bottles and cans of beer on to the roadway. The truck will have to be cleared out before the truck can be up righted. During that process, the left lane of I-65 will remain closed to traffic.
