CHICAGO (WLS) -- Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will visit Chicago Thursday, campaign officials said.
He will host a rally at Chicago State University and also join the MSNBC College Tour with Chris Matthews at University of Chicago.
Doors open at both events at 6 p.m., although the tour is open to students by invitation only. The rally is open to the public and will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Campaign officials say Sanders will discuss his plans to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, implement universal health care and combat climate change.
