Brookfield Zoo goers asked to save lives via blood drive

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Brookfield Zoo and the American Red Cross are asking guests to roll up their sleeves to save lives.

The agency said there's a big demand for blood at hospitals during the summer months. The blood drive at the zoo continues Thursday.
