Broadway show broadcast on livestream for first time ever

NEW YORK CITY (WLS) -- For the first time ever, a Broadway show was broadcast on a livestream Thursday night.

The Tony-winning revival musical "She Loves Me" was made available through Broadway HD.

There are on demand encores available for a week, which cost $9.99. The livestream can be watched on a computer or other devices including Apple TV, Roku and Google Chromecast.

The Roundabout Theatre Production is playing at Studio 54 in Manhattan and closes this month.
