CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Cook County jury delivered an $18 million verdict against a Bucktown halfway house Thursday.

The jury says the facility failed to monitor a serial rapist who attacked three more women while in their care.

Julius Anderson attacked the three women near St. Leonard's House back in 2009, just weeks after his release from prison.

Lawyers for the three women say it took the halfway house 12 days to tell police Anderson had cut off his electronic monitoring device and disappeared.

Anderson is currently serving a 75-year prison sentence for those attacks.
