When it comes to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it seems most shoppers are over it this year.

Only 40 percent of Americans plan to shop on Black Friday, according to bankrate.com.

Twenty-eight percent will actually go to a store, while others will shop online.

So who will be checking out the in-store deals? Mostly millennials, ages 18-29. To them, it's more about the experience.

Why the lackluster feeling for shoppers? The lengthy holiday shopping season.

Some retailers began offering Black Friday deals as early as Nov. 1.
