Byrne Interchange ramp closed this weekend

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Drivers are being detoured on the Jane Byrne Interchange this weekend.

The ramp from the southbound Kennedy to the westbound Eisenhower was closed from Jackson to Morgan Friday night. It will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday morning. Traffic is being rerouted to the outbound Dan Ryan and will be directed to the 18th Street exit ramp.

The closure is part of a project to reconstruct the interchange.
