8 injured in multi-vehicle crash near Roselle

ROSELLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Eight people suffered minor injuries a multi-vehicle crash near Roselle involving a semi truck and five cars, police say.

The crash took place on eastbound I-90 at mile marker 66.7 and blocked two of the three lanes for a time. Illinois State Police say a semi truck failed to slow in traffic and struck five vehicles that were slowing. Charges or citations are pending.
