Car crashes into Elmhurst liquor store

ELMHURST, Ill. (WLS) -- A car crashed into a liquor store in west suburban Elmhurst Tuesday afternoon, smashing through the wall and narrowly missing a customer.

The vehicle slammed into the Doti Liquors at East Fullerton and York Road shortly before 4 p.m. The owner said no one was injured, including the driver.

Police were at the scene investigating the crash. No further details have been released.
